Walter T. Van Tiem, owner of Fresh Coat Painting, of Jacksonville, North Carolina, began his painting experience in Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 1975. He had the pleasure of assisting his dad, Thomas, in painting the family home on Village Lane. “I vividly remember the Sears brand oil base paint we used. It was a medium shade of green and very hard to work with. We did the whole house by brush. I vowed I’d never do this for a living.” Now, over three decades later, Walter enjoys a successful career painting houses for other people. Since 1995, Fresh Coat Painting has helped numerous homeowners improve the value of their homes and businesses.
When it comes to your home or business, Fresh Coat Painting always starts with a “clean canvas” approach. It’s a proven fact that most paint failure is due to poor surface preparation. We go to great lengths to insure proper steps are taken to prepare the surface before any paint is applied. Whether its a million dollar beach house in need of a fresh coat of Dulux Fortis or Grandmother’s windows that need to be re-glazed, we know just what to do. We also offer a full line of pressure washing services to include houses, decks, drives and fences. Along with cleaning, we follow-up with applying wood products from Cabot and Flood .This is imperative to enhance and protect your fence and deck.
